“Curated by” is an annual contemporary art initiative organized entirely by treat.agency. The project brings together international curators to collaborate with selected galleries, fostering innovative exhibitions around a central theme. treat.agency manages the overall organization and develops the accompanying campaigns to ensure the project’s wide-reaching impact.

40 galleries, 300+ international curators, countless international visitors.

“Curated by” is a distinguished annual contemporary art initiative that united over 40 galleries, more than 300 curators, and almost 2000 artists to explore innovative concepts through a shared thematic framework. The project offers a unique platform where international curators collaborate with local galleries to push the boundaries of contemporary art, creating an event that draws attention from across the global art community.

 

As the lead agency, treat.agency plays a vital role in ensuring the success of “Curated by.” Our team manages the entire organizational structure, from logistics to campaign development. We also spearheaded the creation of the website, the digital hub for all things “Curated by.” To amplify the project’s reach, treat.agency produced over 1200 social assets and more than 100 video clips, helping the campaign achieve a reach of over 3,5 million. The initiative attracted more than 60,000 visitors, underscoring its impact and importance in the art world. In 2024 we also started a podcast series that gives further insights about the exhibitions and the festival.
